Daniel Marc Lanthier
Born in Montreal, Daniel has been working in the field of social development since 1976 in Canada, France, Switzerland, India, and finally Pakistan where he has been residing since 1987. From 1987 to 2001 he free-lanced his services to build capacity in various educational institutions for normal and handicapped children.
In 2002 he, along with other foreign educators, founded Family Educational Services Foundation (FESF), an organization that focuses on providing educational services to the most neglected areas of Pakistan. Since 2008, Daniel has been actively involved in managing the Deaf Reach Program, which is the only school for the deaf in Pakistan with a branch network reaching rural and urban areas.
